Summary:
A bug affected multiple companies and wiped many iPads from our system. To add the iPad back into our system and load accounts/apps, we will need to reset the iPad, add it back into management, and then finalize setup and redownload apps. The entire process should take around 20 minutes.
Section 1. Factory reset the iPad
Step 1. Move any desired media off the device
Any pictures, notes, or messages will be wiped off of the device after completing the next step. Pictures can be moved off of the iPad via email, Teams, or Airdrop (with another Apple device).
Step 2. Factory Reset the iPad
1. Open the Settings app
2. Click "General"
3. Scroll to the bottom and click "Transfer or Reset iPad"
4. Click Erase All content and Settings
5. Click "Continue" and then Erase iPad
Section 2. Add device to management
Step 1. Begin Setup
1. Swipe up to begin and select "English"
2. Select "United States" and click "Continue"
3. Click Set Up Without Another Device
4. Select any network (Can be phone hotspot, GC's network, Encore_Guest etc.)
Step 2. Enroll the iPad
1. Click "Enroll this iPad"
2. Click Passcode Options and then 4-Digit Numeric Code
3. Enter and re-enter 7125 as the Passcode
4. Click Turn On Location Services
Section 3. Finish Setup
Step 1. Set up the Hub
1. Open the "Hub" app
2. Select Allow While Using App for the location policy
3. Click the "Create Passcode" line and enter and reenter 7125
4. Click through the prompts and click Allow for notifications
Step 2. Finish Enrolling the Device in "Hub"
1. Click "Support" in the bottom right
2. Under "DEVICE STATUS" click Sync Device
Step 3. Install apps
All apps are available for download in the "Catalog"
