Steps used to log into Outlook successfully
Step 1. Go to portal.office.com on any browser (Preferably google chrome)
Step 2. Sign in using your username with Encore being: firstname(period)lastname [firstname.lastname] and then choose the forgot my password option. If asked, please input a viable phone number to be used for MFA (multi factor authentication) and then create a new password.
*This password must be at least 15 characters to pass Encore's parameters
Step 3. Once the new password has been saved and completed, you may need to sign in once more. Please try to sign into portal.office.com once more. If successful, you have completed creating the new password for your account. This username and password should be used for most access prompts within Encore; if you ever forget your password, please feel free to call the IT help desk @ 720-279-5779 or go to portal.office.com and sign in using your username and choosing the forgot my password option once more.
*Please keep in mind, if you do change the password while off the Encore network, your old password will still need to be used to sign into your laptop as the new password has not synced with the Encore domain yet.
